Kun'inskiy district is in the southern part of the Pskov region. The area boasts a unique landscape composed of many hills that were formed by glacial moraines 12,000 years ago. Also the region is rich in waterways, the largest being the river Cunha, Marata and lakes Digne, Gerecke. Rest in kun'inskiy district is, first of all, long walks and boat trips, mushroom picking, hunting and fishing. The main trade animals here are moose, Fox, hare, wild boar; the local waters are inhabited by such fish as pike, bream, perch, pike, burbot, and many others.
