Recreation centers of Ulagansky district The Republic Of Altai

The territory of the Ulagansky district lies in the Eastern part of the Altai Republic. Settlements here for a while, but nature has a special beauty and picturesqueness. Tourists come here primarily to see the stunning mountain landscapes and to touch the ancient mysteries of the Altai, so many camp sites in the Ulagan district provide an excellent opportunity to live as close to nature and stay in authentic traditional villages or tents. For the curious also organises a variety of excursions in the valley of the river Chulyshman, the pass katu-Yaryk, Pazyryk burial mounds and historical-ethnographic Museum "Pazyryk". Also in the district is the Altai natural reserve, founded in 1932, which includes part of lake Teletskoye and the famous "stone mushrooms".
