Recreation center «Korkiniemi»
The base of rest "Koskiniemi" is located in a secluded scenic spot in the Northern part of Karelia, on the shore of lake Regularly, where in the past century was the settlement of ancient Finno-Ugric tribes. Still in the vicinity of the base preserved ruins of ancient Finnish buildings set among pristine wildlife, the location where the database is located, will be particularly interesting to fans of history and ancient folklore. База, конечно, очень далеко от больших городов. Но у нас было три недели и мы ехали с конкретными исследовательскими целями с заездом на Соловки и т.п., поэтому нам место пришлось по душе: если поездить по округе, можно найти кучу интересных старых развалин, руины домов, да и просто сама природа радует, умиротворяет. Понравилось! Для любителей севера и истории - советую!
