Recreation centers of the Vanchozero (Vangozero) lake

Panozero located on the territory of medvezhyegorsky district of the Republic of Karelia, not far from Onega and of the Museum-reserve Kizhi. It is called – Vygozero, and it is also the source of the river Vinoterra. Panozero has an oval shape and a surface area of about 9 sq km; the bottom is mainly covered with silt, and the banks of coniferous forest vegetation.
