The Tvertsa river is a tributary of the Volga river and flows through the territory of Tver region, stretching nearly 190 miles in length. This is a beautiful river with a rather picturesque beaches, covered with mixed and coniferous forests; they settled the ancient town of Torzhok and Vyshny Volochek, and numerous villages and rural areas.
