Recreation centers of the Seneghskoe (Senegh) lake

The Mecca of windsurfers and kitesurfers of the Moscow region ‒ the lake Senezh in Moscow to a depth of 6 m and an area of 8.51 km2. This reservoir was created in 1826 during the construction of the canal between the rivers sparkle and Sister. It is considered the oldest artificial reservoir region.

The beauty of the Senezh was inspired by the famous Russian artist Isaac Levitan. It was here that he created his famous landscapes depicting this unusual lake.
