Recreation centers of the Gorykovskoe reservoir

Gorky reservoir is located in Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Kostroma regions and is 1590 km2. A reservoir formed by a hydroelectric dam for power and navigation, in Soviet times acquired the name of the Gorky sea.

Actively used by local residents and tourists for fishing and recreation. Hydrochemical order is beneficial to the fish fauna: the waters are rich in bass, bream, roach, ruff, uclea, pike, CONV. Less common pikeperch, burbot, eel. Fishing, and other leisure activities available to guests all year round. The tourist base of the Gorky reservoir offer recreational activities for every taste in accordance with the season: volleyball, boat rental, equipment, organization of Hiking and excursions in summer, all ski equipment, skates, indoor pools in the winter.
