Irsety river

Irset river is a tributary of the river city and has a total length of 50 km. It covers two districts of Mordovia, Krasnoslobodsky and Novaya and in the lower reaches flows through pochinkovskogo district of Nizhny Novgorod region. Direction of Ireti is mostly through dense forests and vast steppes, some places on its banks are small towns. Near the village of Vasylivka, tourists can see the earthen wall remaining from the ancient fortress Redoubt, and also to explore other attractions in the region – mainly the old Church. Also on the river you can go fishing, however in the last few years the number of fish in its waters has decreased. But active countryside thriving: camp site on the river Irset suggest the organization of horse riding in the surrounding countryside, rental bicycles and snowmobiles, sightseeing tours at any time of the year and other activities.
