Istra river

Istra river is a left tributary of the Moscow-river and has a length of 112 km. In its lower part has the Istra reservoir, so those who want to spend the rest of it is on the river banks, choosing of the camp site in the upper reaches. In these parts of the popular water tourism, and especially popular are the river walk, during which you can admire the beauty of the natural landscape and the preserved monuments of architecture on the banks of the river. They include Church of the assumption, built in the 18th century in Obukhov. Also during the holidays on the river Istra you can go fishing: the river is home to pike, bream, perch and other fish species.
