Recreation centers of the Velye lake (Baltiyskiy pool)

Velha — a small lake in Opochetskaya district of the Pskov region. On the lake has 5 Islands. The reservoir area is 5.0 km2, the maximum depth reaches 18 meters. The lake is flowing; using a sleeve with a reservoir connected to Voloshka river and Crooked lake. Shore Velha steep and in some places swampy. The surrounding landscape presents a mixed forest, expansive meadows and arable land. Stay on the lake velye popular among both local residents and visitors to the region. We practice ecotourism, rest with tents, go to the forest to pick berries and mushrooms and fishing. Its waters are inhabited by such representatives of the underwater world as pike, burbot, catfish, bream, perch, roach; periodically caught crayfish. Local hostels offer fans a fishing rent boats and fishing equipment.
