Recreation centers of the Velikaya river (Baltiyskiy pool)

The scenic Great river flows across the territory of the Pskov region, has a total length of 430 km and covers eight districts: Pskov, Sebezh, Opochetskaya, Novosokol, Pustoshkinsky, Ostrovsky, pushkinogorskaya, Palkinskiy. Great has a pretty fast current and sloping banks, covered with pine and mixed forest. On the banks is a large number of hostels that provide tourists a comfortable and varied holiday on the river Great. Stay on this pond is also famous for the excellent fishing: home to roach, whitefish, pike, bream, perch, catfish and other fish species.
