Slavyanka (Savi-yoki) river

Slavyanka – slow lowland river with a length of 39 km, one of the tributaries of the Neva river. It takes place in Leningrad region and covers a part of the urban district. The source of Slavyanka is located in the marshy lowlands, and in the beginning of his career, it is quite narrow and winding channel, which then widens to 10-15 meters. On the territory of Pavlovsk stay at Slavyanka river is the most popular, as the river flows through the picturesque Palace and Park Museum-reserve "Pavlovsk", and is an important waterway feeding his ponds. In the old days in Slavyanka was driven a variety of fish, making it interesting for fishermen. Currently, however, the river water is heavily polluted and fish it is not recommended.
