Recreation centers of the Tolva-yarvi (Tolvoyarvi) lake

Lake tolvajärvi is located in the West of Karelia and included in the water system of the same name of the reserve, consisting of more than 10 lakes. This is a large and beautiful pond area of about 8 sq. km, with picturesque shores, along which stretches of pine forest. This is a cozy place situated away from inhabited areas, so stay on the lake tolvajärvi promises to be quiet and peaceful here, on the beach, is only one small village which has the same name – tolvajärvi. Fans of Karelian nature and solitude will appreciate the local landscapes, and avid fishermen will be quite happy with their catch in the pond in sufficient quantity inhabits perch, burbot, pike, bream, vendace and roach. At a distance of just 30 km from the lake is the border of Russia and Finland.
