Lena river

Lena is the largest river in Russia and an important transport artery of Yakutia. Its channel has a length of 4400 km and is entirely in the borders of our country: it embraces the Irkutsk oblast and Yakutia, and the tributaries of the Lena river – Krasnoyarsk, TRANS-Baikal and the Khabarovsk territory, Amur region and Buryatia. The river starts its way from the swamp near the lake, and in the end flows into the Laptev sea. In the vicinity of river banks there are many interesting attractions that make holidays to the Lena river varied and exciting. Often tourists visit the Lena pillars, the prehistoric man, and other interesting places where specially laid ecological trail.
