Kubry (Kubrya) river

River Kubr, or Cobra, flows through the territory of the Yaroslavl and Vladimir regions and has a total length of about 90 km It originates in the wetlands, and then flows into the Nerl. Bank Kubri is quite steep, and along these stretches of mixed woodland and small settlements. The river is formed by several dams and Kobrinskoe reservoir, created in the 70-ies of XX century. These places are all year round popular among fishermen because the fish here is pretty diverse: carp, Chub, tench, roach, perch, pike, Chub, bream. Also rest on the river Kubr interesting for lovers of kayaking, and just relaxing boat trips. The river valley is a protected natural site.
