Rutka river

The river Rutka has a length of 153 km and is a left tributary of the Volga river. It flows through the territory of the Republic of Mari El and Nizhny Novgorod region, mostly in uninhabited areas. Its banks are covered with forests. The main flow of tourists who choose to vacation on the river Rutka, are water lovers and avid fishermen. Fishing here continues all year round, and fish population of the reservoir is sufficiently large: in the local waters are home to roach, bream, Chub, bream, carp, carp, crucian carp, catfish, tench and others. Some of them live in shallow water, while others can only be caught from a boat.
