Vohtozero (Vohto, Vahtozero, Vuht-yarvi) lake

Waitotara, or van Vught-yarvi is a picturesque lake with five Islands, located on the territory of the Republic of Karelia. The lake has an irregular lobed shape. Its banks are mostly low and marshy, and Waitotara is a fairly shallow reservoir with opaque water to a light brown color. Recreation on lake Waitotara offer to their guests to relax and fully enjoy the beauty of local nature. This lake is quite rich in diverse fish and no less popular among fishermen than other lakes and rivers of Karelia. In lake waters are home to burbot, pike, ruff, perch, roach, vendace.
