Basandayka river

Barandica river flows through the territory of Tomsk region and is a right tributary of the river Tom. Throughout its length it covers a lot of settlements, the largest of which is the city of Tomsk, as well as numerous suburban settlements. Barandica has a meandering channel with a length of 57 km near which is located the extremely interesting natural and archaeological sites. These include the ancient monuments of the Neolithic, Basanisi Park, and the cedar forest, protected by the state. Currently, fish in the river almost not found due to the difficult environmental situation, however, rest on the river Barandica still of interest to tourists. Fans of active recreation are readily fused it on kayaks and inflatable boats, and those who prefer a relaxing holiday, can stroll along the river valley and admire its beauty.
