Vuoksa (Burnaya, Taypalen-yoki, Taypale) river

Vuoksa, originating in Finland, flows in the Leningrad region. It is the largest river of the Karelian isthmus with a length of 143 km and an area of over 68,000 km2. The river passes through the Finnish city of Imatra and the Russian inhabited localities: Svetogorsk, Kamennogorsk, Priozersk.

Traditionally, the Vuoksi served as a stopping place not organized tourist groups with tents. But today on the coast offer comfortable stay of the tourist base.
