Uda river

UDA river flows into Baikal and has a very solid and impressive length of almost 470 km. On its way it covers three district of Buryatia zaigraevsky, Khori and eravninskiy, and the city of Ulan-Ude. Early in the course the ood its banks, basically, is a uninhabited mountain taiga; then the river rises in the mountain valley, and along the coast are settlements. Among other Buryat rivers UDI valley has the highest population density. The local nature is beautiful and picturesque and protected by the state: in the valley of the river located three reserve – Mohasky, Hudecki and Angarskii. However, travelers are attracted not only to the beauty of the scenery, but also great opportunities for water tourism. In addition, recreation on the river UDA is highly valued among fishermen in its waters are inhabited by taimen, grayling, lenok and whitefish.
