Vidlica river

Vidlitsa river extends for 68 km in length through the territory of the Republic of Karelia, covering two districts of Olonets and Pryazha. The river mostly runs through uninhabited forest area, along it there are practically no towns, and villages. The largest settlement is the village of Vidlitsa located near the confluence of the river into Ladoga lake. Holidays on the river Vidlitsa popular among water tourism enthusiasts as it features a large number of shoals and rapids which create the perfect conditions for rafting. During them you get to see beautiful coastal scenery, enjoy the fresh forest air and stay at a tent on the beach and fishing. In the waters VELIZY there are about 20 species of fish including grayling, salmon, whitefish and trout.
