Kobona (Kabona) river

The Kobona river has a length of 45 km and flows through the Kirov and Volkhovsky districts of Leningrad region. Its source is in the swamps near the village Gatovo, and at the end of its path it flows into lake Ladoga. The bed of the river is through the forest and small settlements – villages and towns, which are particularly unremarkable: they can see only dilapidated ancient temples. Holidays on the river Kobona focused mainly within the same village at the confluence of rivers in Ladoga. There is a guest house and a Church and a small Museum of Road of life, which tourists can visit. Fishing on the river Kobona is not particularly popular, because the fish in it a little. However avid fishermen can always go to the shore of lake Ladoga.
