Ohta river

The river Okhta is one of the largest tributaries of the Neva river and has a total length of almost 100 km flows through the territory of the Vsevolozhsk district, encompassing many villages and part of St. Petersburg. The river bottom is sometimes sandy, sometimes muddy, and the depth reaches 5 meters. In the city on its way formed a small artificial reservoir – Okhtinsky Razliv. Swim in Okhta is not recommended because the water is heavily polluted, however, fishing is allowed: home to perch, roach, pike, bream, Chub and other species.
