Krasnogvardeyskoe (Halolan-yarvi) lake

The lake krasnogvardeyskoe, or Halalan-yarvi, is situated in the picturesque place of the Karelian isthmus near the village of Polyana. The total surface area exceeds 10 sq. km and an average depth is 4 meters, although in some places reaches 8 meters. There are many kinds of fish, so during a holiday on the Central lake, many tourists like fishing, and the local camp sites offer boats and fishing tackle. Most often in lake water found perch, roach, ruff and perch, rarely pike, burbot and other species.
