Saymenskiy Kanal (Saymaan kanava) channel

The Saimaa canal linking Vyborg Bay in Russia, and lake Saimaa in Finland, was opened in the second half of the 19th century. Its length is 57.3 km. Today this reservoir is very popular among tourists, and the rest on the Saimaa channel can include a cruise to local attractions, and fishing. In the waters live a variety of fish, most often found perch, white bream, bleak, roach and Rudd. People come here not only experienced anglers, but also Amateurs, just beginners.
