Akakuly lake

Lake Akakool (from the Bashkir "current and clear lake") refers to the Irtysh basin. Located in the Chelyabinsk region and is of tectonic origin.

A third of the water surface of the lake is covered with reeds, which, combined with its clear waters, rocky headlands and wooded and hilly shores creates a unique and picturesque pond. In the Central part Acacus is a large island. Beautiful sandy beach on the island is a favorite place for recreation and swimming during the warmer time of the year.
