Tavatuy lake

Lake Tavatuy is one of the most beautiful and quiet corners for relaxing on the slopes of the Ural mountains. Its maximum depth is 9 m, and covers an area of 21, 2 km2. Clean water, abundance of greenery, fresh mountain air make the lake an ideal place for recovery. Not by chance at the tourist center Tavarua annually attracts a lot of travelers from all over the CIS.

Resting on Tavatuy, is to see its magnificent Islands ‒ Black, Macarena, Podosinoviki and Sofronova. When at the top of the large granite boulders resting gulls, the sight is really impressive.

Fishing on lake Tavatuy ‒ a real ritual. Once lived on the banks of the pond fishermen are credited with the invention of "Samothrace" ‒ kind fishing lures. On Tavatuy superbly caught pike, burbot, roach, ruff, perch, ripus comes Ladoga and Peipsi whitefish.
