Amur river

The Amur river flows along the Russian-Chinese border, encompassing a number of Russian regions in the far East – TRANS-Baikal and Khabarovsk Krai, Amur oblast and Jewish Republic. Amur has a length of over 2,800 km and is one of the largest rivers in Russia. On its shores are Russian and Chinese localities, including the city of Blagoveshchensk, Khabarovsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The nature coast is diverse – there are forests, steppes and semi-deserts, and in the river valley a large number of oxbow lakes, the streams and lakes. While relaxing on the Amur river you can take a fascinating boat trip and admire the unusual nature of this region, as well as rafting or fishing. The most popular fish are pink salmon and chum salmon, but also inhabits catfish, pike, crucian carp and other – only about 100 species.
