Vyshnevolotsky district

Vyshnevolotsky district is located in the middle part of the Tver region and has an area of more than 3,300 sq. km. since ancient times these places were characterized by high population density, and today they attract a lot of tourists. The district is the highest point of the Valdai hills, which is popularly called the "top of the Valdai". The area is rich in water resources: there are Vyshnevolotskiy and Mstinskiy reservoirs, many lakes and several rivers. Campings in Vyshnevolotskiy district are located on a coast and provide guests the opportunity to comfortably relax on the beach, fishing and boating, enjoying the beautiful landscapes. Historical and cultural sites of the district are predominantly ancient estates of the XVIII-XX centuries and temple architecture. These include manor "Academic dacha" by I. E. Repin, Trinity Church and others.
