Volodarsky district

Volodarsky district covers a relatively small area of about 1000 sq km, located in the Western part of Nizhny Novgorod region. A fairly extensive area is uninhabited area, covered with mixed forests, small rivers and swampy areas where you can enjoy plenty of privacy and peace. However, in General, stay in Volodarsky district is concentrated in the southern part, where the city of Volodarsk and other localities. Here there are two large rivers – Oka and Klyazma, therefore, quite popular among tourists for fishing, boating and other water activities at the beach. Also in the district you can see some beautiful old temples, such as the Church of the Annunciation in Volodarsk and the St. Nicholas Church in Reshetikha, and many protected monuments of nature.
